A new hotspot by the sea

At the entrance to Camping Dunepark in Oostduinkerke, Veedeebee’s opened its doors: the restaurant of brothers Christophe and Frederick Vandenberghe, where fire, flavour and good company meet. A juicy cut of meat off the JOSPER charcoal grill, a pizza fresh out of the wood-fired oven, a cold beer at the bar or a quick takeaway — with a sunny terrace and easy parking right by the coast.

Major Tom built the entire digital house: an atmospheric multilingual website (NL / FR) with a takeaway shop, a booking system of our own and a bespoke management dashboard behind it.

Right on the coast

Veedeebee’s sits on the edge of the dunes, a stone’s throw from the beach at Oostduinkerke. A spot where the season sets the rhythm — which is exactly why the restaurant can steer its own opening hours, busy periods and collection slots.

Order & collect, whenever it suits you

The heart of the project: a full takeaway shop. Customers pick their pizzas, pay securely online through Mollie (Bancontact & card) and collect their order whenever it suits them. Behind the scenes the restaurant sets its own collection points, opening hours and exception days — the collection calendar follows automatically. Every order sends an SMS confirmation and rolls out of the printer as a kitchen ticket.

A booking system of our own

No third-party booking tool, but a system we built ourselves that sits entirely inside the site. A smooth booking drawer takes the guest through a few steps: number of people → date → lunch or dinner → time. Closing days, holiday periods and fully booked services are blocked automatically, so a booking that cannot be honoured never comes in.

The restaurant in the driving seat

It all comes together in one management dashboard for the client. Incoming bookings appear live and are confirmed or handled right there; the team can enter a booking itself, add holiday days and adjust the opening hours. The takeaway orders run through it too. No developer needed — the restaurant now sets its own season and calendar.

More than just a meal

Besides grill, pizza and bar, Veedeebee’s comes with a bed as well: above the restaurant the brothers rent out seven fully furnished holiday apartments, to be found on their sister site Samen aan Zee. Sun, sea and good food within arm’s reach.

We drew the logo and the full brand identity for both businesses too — so that restaurant and holiday let feel like one family.
